It features a traditional single jointed mouthpiece that creates pressure on the tongue and bars. The smaller loose ring cheekpieces encourage self-carriage. You can pair this bit with a curb bit (sold separately) for a complete double bridle. Be sure to size up by 1/8 to 1/4 inch when using this bit in a double bridle. This bit is competition legal for most upper-level dressage classes.
